ABOUT US...
Monarch Development Group is a community oriented organization with years of experience advocating and providing Technical Assistance for development, Section 3 projects, and other HUD based initiatives.
Monarch Development Group works directly with neighborhoods and their respective leaders and boards to provide bridges over the gaps in needs whether neighborhood services such as minor home repair or greenspace beautification, or assisting in integrating new homeowners into the neighborhood as a resource and community partner. Equally important are the employment opportunities that arise from the work associated from revitalization and rehabbing neighborhoods for contractors and sub-contractors. These activities provide viable employment for small businesses and community residents, per Section 3 requirements, and yields the benefit of allowing local residents to have a vested stake in the texture, appearance, and livability of their community.
MDG's strategic position as a partner with non-profit development and technical assistance organizations allows within our natural scope of operation to leverage existing strategic partners to create housing and development opportunities that are affordable and sustainable whether new build or rehab of existing stock and structures.
Additionally is the focus on small business development and creating employment opportunities that allow community members help define and shape their respective community.
All of the aforementioned is reflective of the social mission of the legacy organization with decades of experiences, examples, and testimonies of the access and upward mobility that has been afforded contractors through advocacy and opportunities created through and with Monarch Development.
